China Southern Airlines has launched its first fifth freedom cargo route (Guangzhou - Auckland - Sydney)

On July 4th, Southern Air Logistics launched the country's first regular cargo flight route directly to New Zealand, 

and for the first time applied the fifth air right (allowing cargo transportation in both directions between Australia and New Zealand).

This route is operated by a Boeing 777 cargo aircraft and is scheduled to operate weekly,

 significantly reducing the cargo transportation time from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Australia and New Zealand.
