Questions importers ask us
How is air freight charged?
By chargeable weight: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight = length × width × height (cm) ÷ 6,000 for air freight, or ÷ 5,000 for express. Per-kg rates drop at higher weight breaks. Sea freight is charged per cubic metre.
How long does air freight to Europe take?
We have weekly flights to Germany, the UK, France and Turkey, and direct consolidations can arrive in as little as 4–7 days from our warehouse to signature. The transit time for your shipment is confirmed with your quote.
Which airports can my cargo fly from?
Most shipments depart Shenzhen or Hong Kong. We also book from Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and other Chinese airports, airport-to-airport, door-to-airport or door-to-door — whichever gives the best route and price.
Can you ship products with batteries, magnets or liquids?
Our published rates are for general cargo. Special goods need a check first: send us the product details (and the MSDS for batteries, liquids or powders) and we'll confirm whether and how it can ship, and at what price.
LCL or FCL — which should I choose?
Under roughly 15 CBM, LCL is usually cheaper; above that a 20' container often wins. LCL is charged per cubic metre, or per 1,000 kg when the cargo is heavier. Tell us your volume and we'll price both.
How long does sea freight take?
Sailing from Shenzhen: about 14–16 days to Los Angeles / Long Beach, 7–9 days to Tokyo or Osaka, 20–25 days to Australia and 22–25 days to European ports, plus delivery at destination.
When should I choose express instead of air freight?
Express suits samples, documents and small parcels that need to arrive fast, with door-to-door tracking on DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT or EMS. For larger shipments, send us the weight and destination and we'll compare express with air freight for you.
What is DDP, and which lines include it?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means the price includes customs clearance, duties and import taxes, so the goods arrive without a separate tax bill. Our China–Europe rail line is DDP: 16–19 days by rail, then UPS delivery, at about a third of the air price. For other lines, your quote states exactly what is included.
Can you collect from several suppliers and ship everything together?
Yes. We arrange pickup from your suppliers, or they deliver to our warehouse in Shenzhen. Goods from several suppliers are checked, repacked and relabeled if needed, then consolidated into one shipment, with free storage while you wait.
Do you handle customs clearance and HS codes?
Yes. Our customs team handles export and import declarations and inspection, pre-classifies your products with the right HS codes and pays duties on your behalf. Send us the product name, material and use, and we'll confirm the duty rate before you ship.
